Our Son Graduated from High School
Posted August 5th, 2009
We are happy to announce to our dear customers that our son Paulos Shiferaw has graduated from high school and accepted at University of Washington. We are very thankful and grateful to our customers who made this happen. Had it not been to your patronage for the last 27 years, this would not have happened. We are certain some of you remember Mimi, our daughter, when she kept you busy talking to you and to your children when she was very young while her parents were preparing your order and later as she got older taking your orders and serving you. She is now a university graduate and planning to go to Dental school. There would not be enough words to express our gratitude and appreciation to all of you.
Here is the video of Paulos' High School graduation celebration held at Kokeb Restaurant.
Thank you again

I do not know Paulos nor do I know any of his family members. But as an Ethiopian, I feel very proud every time I read an Ethiopian reaching such a milestone. Congratulations to both Paulos and the Family!
Did you know coffee was first founded in Ethiopia from a province called Kaffa? Coffee celebration is a big part of Ethiopian cuisine. It has a special spiritual meaning.
